Just be aware that the phase transition temperature from liquid to solid is room temperature and if disturbed they will often instantly crystallize into a highly energized mass of murder fur.

I’m no physicist but I think there’s some relationship to their ability to increase their atomic weight. Anyone who’s picked up a cat who was comfy where they were and really would rather not be put someplace else, knows the phenomenon to which I refer.
If it doesn’t fit, MAKE it fit!
