Because we are all about pop culture, and you are wondering why we are asking this hypothetical question… who would win, Superman or Mighty Mouse, we present

Godzilla vs. Kong: A scientist decides who would really win

After years of build-up within an overlapping cinematic MonsterVerse, Godzilla and Kong are going to meet, and they’re going to fight.

First things first… we hate to break it to you, but Godzilla and Kong aren’t real, nor do animals similar to either of these MonsterVerse inhabitants exist, nor have they ever. Indeed, nor could they ever. The Godzilla vs. Kong version of Godzilla is 177 metres long and weighs over 90,000 tonnes. Kong stands 103 metres tall and weighs over 50,000 tonnes.

And I won’t spoil the rest for you, but I will say Destroy All Monsters is unbeatable entertainment and everything else is just noise:

  1. Words cannot express the limitless lack of interest I have for this movie.

Or the Godzilla movie before that.
Or the Godzilla movie before that.
or the really bad Godzilla movie before that.

Next they’ll probably fucking hire Michael Bay to make a Tranformers-infused “Godzilla versus Mechagodzilla” remake.

Destroy All Monsters was the final word on Godzilla movies. Everything since is just noise.

Never been a monster movie fan. They all seemed so much fakery. But Alien(s) were pretty cool…

I loved Monsters v Aliens, featuring Stephen Colbert as the voice of the pResident of the Untied States, his onscreen presence the most amazing cross between Our Recent Tea Pot Dictator and his butt-buddy the Rocket Boy, Kim Jong Un. The size, most physical features and mannerisms all Drumpf uck, the hair a cross between the two, and the face and glasses Kim.

Quite prescient for a 2009 release, a far more adult cartoon than kid with a lot of cracks straight out of [the] day’s headlines. Notably: at one point pResident Hathaway/Kim/Trump almost pushes the button that blows up the world rather than the button that summons his latte, and then asks “who invented this system!?” “Uhmmm, you did, sir.”

Too which he flippantly responds “Well, fire somebody!”

At the end, past the credits, being stupid, he blows up the world.

I don’t know – Mothra always interested me. Why a giant moth? Where did those twin Japanese girls come from and how do to they communicate with Mothra? Why not a giant flea or a a bedbug?

Yeah, “Stand By Me,” the first clip was a wonderful movie. I watched it with the kids and Cindy T. Too bad about River Phoenix who died at the tender age of 23 from an overdose. He was potentially one of the greats…

Awesome (not my favorite adjective but given the protagonists it applies). Good to see peace between prehistoric monsters before they amble into Tokyo yet again.

just add the https and the :// in front of it.
