Fun! I have to watch the series.
Fran Lebowitz first caught my attention with her sporadic guest appearances on David Letterman’s show, I think beginning back in the 80’s. She could always reliably be counted on for witty piercing social commentary, and still is. I love her New York grouchiness.
Thanks for the interlude. People like her are far and few to find.
Fran Lebowitz is hilarious describing her “cooking” during the pandemic. Wish I could find a link. She’s no cook and proud of it!
In Metropolitan Life, a book from the late 70s, Lebowitz wrote that her two hobbies were smoking cigarettes and plotting revenge. Good to see the ciggies haven’t taken their toll.
