Some Fries With Your Stupid?

Pride of Tennessee, Professional Liar Marsha Blackburn

Notice the tense that Marsha-Marsha-Marsha uses:

She knows her constituents, I guess?

    Frankly, “Neanderthal” is unfair …

To the Neanderthal, as it were, comparing them to today’s white-trash. Cro-Magnon, knuckle-dragging cavemen out of the Middle-East, is the more accurate metaphor.

There’s a lot we don’t know about those who went before, but by all accounts they were far more advanced than the contemporaries who over-ran and assimilated them.

Who would not have survived otherwise.

    Fucking monkeys

Neanderthals being compared to the better qualities of humanity by Ms Blackburn is offensive. It’s not that they didn’t make a huge contribution to the gene pool and modern civilization, but ms Blackburn likens them to her GQP constituents. Not sure she was paying attention to the goings on during the insurrection, but those folks were hunting legislators and committing horrible acts of violence against their fellow human beings…

Aren’t Neanderthals also extinct? At least no longer with us, much like the racist sexist version of ‘Mericuh these Rs believe in?

One strain of White supremacy holds that it was Homo Sapiens interbreeding with Neanderthal that produced the superior European race.

If you are thinking that logically that would mean that they should want as much race mixing as possible in order to spread those genes far and wide, congratulations, you have at least a slightly better grasp of evolution than a White supremacist. Please pick up your prize at the door.

(Though hopefully you are thinking that the first sentence doesn’t even make enough sense to draw any conclusions from.)

Considering that there is evidence of interbreeding between Homo neanderthalensis and Homo sapiens, it’s reasonable to assume that there’s some Neanderthal DNA still lfloating around the gene pool, so it might be justifiable to speak of them in the present tense. The strain seems to run stronger in conservatives, but it’s still lurking in our chromosomes. I sincerely think that “sapiens” is not the appropriate designation for the vast majority of the species.

It’s hard to say whether or not Sen. Blackburn (R – Intellectual Conservative Extraordinaire) has done her research BUT the Neadetals she speaks of were hunting for trouble and gathering muffins. Truth.

Nope. Dammit Jimmy, how are you dropping graphics here?

We’re on the same platform …

Well, looks like this is how Tengrain did it –
        {p}{img src=”https://homelessonthehighdesert.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/images-11.jpg?w=640″ alt=”” /}{/p}
        – where the stuff inside the quotes up to “.jpg” is, of course, the address of the image you want and the “?w=640” defines – probably the width of the image, since “w”. After all, our Tengrain knows what size of images his blog likes.
Just replace all the curly brackets with pointy brackets, and don’t make a mistake or it won’t work.

I tried that M, couple weeks ago, though we all know how things can go with errant characters. And I’m somewhat mistaken on the platform – it may have to do with Ten running his own domain while I’m still a guest at WordPress.

I haven’t tried it (not a youtuber, per se) but I figure if I were to open an embed into a preview window at my place then copy and paste the result here should work. I’m thinkin’ maybe because it’s public domain, while the graphics I’ve tried to import are out of my collection? That graphic originated in the public domain, hmmmmm …

This is really important – we can hang exile the insurrectionists next week …

I saw that, and also wondered about the present tense.
    I’m pretty sure that
A – Ms. Blackburn is overstating her knowledge of prehistory to make a point and
2 – Mr. President Biden mentioned “Neanderthal thinking” blocking the wearing of masks as a way of making a point.

I am concerned that with her “Neanderthal Pride” message Marsha is dangerously close to exceeding the spelling and syllabic pronunciation capacity of her target audience. Nevertheless; go with it Marsha – Neanderthal Lives Matter! Please stick with that message!!!

  11. Evidence shows that Neanderthals cared for sick and injured members of their community, held funerals, burying their dead with flowers and personal possessions, and created art https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/article/neanderthals-cave-art-humans-evolution-science.

these fucking MAGAts should be grateful we’re comparing them to Neanderthals.
