The U.S. Lab for Bad Policy
You cannot make up merde like this:
“Five board members of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas — the entity that manages and operates the electricity grid that covers much of Texas —will resign on Wednesday, according to a notice to the Public Utility Commission. A sixth has withdrawn his application to the board.
“All six live outside of Texas.”
Texas: where bad policy and grifting meet. Ayn Rand would be so proud.
Interesting, also. Among the 5 who resigned are; the board chair, vice-chair, finance and audit chair and the human resources and governance committee chair. “The vacancies will not immediately be filled.” Sounds like the captain has left the sinking ship. Enjoy the music.

It wasn’t a natural disaster, that storm would have been a minor inconvenience in the rest of the US. It was a Randian Republican nightmare.
