Nicely done. Good to have a decent, caring, and intelligent President who doesn’t make it about himself, but seeks to comfort the afflicted…

For a man who has had a reputation for being a gaffe machine, Joe Biden has never stumbled while talking about bereavement. He has suffered great loss, and it has given him great empathy.

J.R.R. Tolkien might have been writing about Joe Biden when he wrote: “His grief he will not forget; but it will not darken his heart, it will teach him wisdom.”

It’s a wonderful thing to have a leader who keeps growing up. Joe Biden is not the same man as he was 30 years ago. I’m glad, and I’ll bet he is too.

Biden did what Trump never could: he spoke from his heart. I was moved to tears by his speech. He spoke from the memories of his own loss and shared the agony of losing loved ones with the families of half a million people.

    Thank you, Mr President.

Joe Biden spoke to me, as he did with so many.
After almost 50 years since losing my Mom…I had tears streaming down my face listening to him reach out with his heart.
What a beautiful soul he has.

  6. I wish we had him as President four years ago. I don’t think we’d have lost so many.
