Warm-up Act For Insurrection?
In a BS Screed, er, brief filed on Monday, Hair Füror’s mob-bosses-for-clients ambulance chasers, er, lawyers called the single article of impeachment “unconstitutional for a variety of reasons,” which is pretty lawyerly talk for We got bupkis.
They argue that LDN didn’t incite a violent mob to attack Congress, but “instead called on those gathered to peacefully and patriotically use their voices.” It’s an extremely bold claim that Lord Damp Nut never “intended to interfere with the counting of Electoral votes,” when he clearly wanted for that to happen. When he told his armed mob who gathered at his request to “fight like hell” or “you’re not going to have a country anymore,” he merely meant for them to fight for “election security in general.”
They really said that.
And then the whopper: Lord Damp Nut was “horrified” by what he witnessed unfolding at the Capitol on January 6, just like the rest of us.
Anyway, it’s an outrageous read, full of BS compressed into diamonds. Not finished with it of course, but this will provide some amusement today, I’m sure, as they try to make these points in the Senate.
Everyone could tell he was “horrified” by the bullshit-eating grin spread across his bloated orange face.

I read that he was difficult to reach during his insurrection entertainment because it was live. He didn’t want to miss anything so he couldn’t take calls. Ordinarily he’d Tivo, but you can’t do that if it’s live.

I cannot get too invested in this sham. No single GQP senator is likely to vote to convict, because it’s not the usual practice to include the accuseds unindicted co-conspirators to be both jurors and in-house jury intimidators.

It’s not like he was caught saying disparaging thing about women (Oh wait), or getting caught with hookers (Oh wait), or has an extensive record of lying, cheating, and stealing (Oh what the f*ck!!!), but he is the right wing’s God (Oh Christ on a crutch), and won’t be held accountable even if he shot someone on Fifth Avenue (or five now six deaths in the attempted insurrection), because that is how Rethugllicans (Q) now roll…
