The woman who lost her job for flipping off Donald Trump’s motorcade in a 2017 photo has had the last laugh.
Juli Briskman, who went viral after a snap of her raising her middle finger at the former US President from the seat of her bicycle, was fired from her job with a government contractor as a result of the gesture.
Ms Briskman said her company’s HR department told her initially it would not be a problem. But on the Tuesday after her hand gesture went gangbusters, she was given the boot, with her employer saying she had violated their social media policy.
“They walked me to my desk and then out the building. I was even told I could not get photos of my children from my computer before they bleached it,” Ms Briskman said at the time.
So what’s the last laugh, you ask?
“OK, but I thought we knew that already,” you say. “So what’s the last laugh, senile old ‘Grain?”
Game, set, and match.
