I hope that Domino never asks for ice.
(My research indicates that Tuxedo Cats are always, um, a bit different.)

Do you hear water running? I do, and it makes me thirsty!

” Tuxedo Cats are always, um, a bit different.” In many ways; and they are SO affectionate!

Does this give anyone else an idea for a garden-statuary fountain? I’d like it better than those cupids peeing in the pool.

One of my neighbors owns several cats. During a recent visit, she introduced them to me: “That’s Astrophe, that’s Erpillar, that’s Aract, that’s Alogue.” “Where on earth did you get such unusual names?” I asked. “Oh, those are their last names,” she explained. “Their first names are Cat.”

Our dog Harley, always expects an ice cube whenever you get a new drink. He comes into the kitchen when he hears the ice dispenser.

I have two theories about this, neither of which can be substantiated. First, there is moisture trickling on the stem of the faucet (leaky washer) when the water is running and that’s what Mr. or Ms. Tuxedo is licking into the side of her/his mouth, the awkward angle being the result of having to keep head pressure on the faucet to keep it running. Second, the cat has ear mites, the cool water feels good on the itchy ear and the lapping is a reflex.
OK, three: Kitty is an eccentric.

I was also wondering if he was washing his ears. A good scrich will sometimes get that licking reaction from a cat.
