$20 For Your Thoughts?

Gonna hafta rephrase our old saying,  $20, same as in town:

White House recommits to getting Harriet Tubman on $20 bill after Trump delay

(CNN)The Biden administration says it is “exploring ways to speed up” release of $20 bills featuring abolitionist Harriet Tubman after the Trump administration delayed the move first initiated by President Barack Obama.

“It’s important that our notes, our money — if people don’t know what a note is — reflect the history and diversity of our country, and Harriet Tubman’s image gracing the new $20 note would certainly reflect that,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Monday.

A spokesperson for the Treasury Department confirmed to CNN that the agency is “exploring ways to resume” putting Tubman on the bill.

Pretty cool putting 19th century abolitionist leader Harriet Tubman on the $20, but it still could take a while as The Deep State has to sign off on it, but getting the racist Old Hickory off the $20 would be a plus. It’s symbolic, but it is the right kind of symbolism.

“$10, Same As In Town”? Yeah, it might work.

Til that happens, I continue to stamp my $20 bills with Harriet Tubman’s image.

Since we’re talking about the grand Old Ass party I recommend “two bits, same as in town”.

Time to make some changes, folks. Big or small, let’s show how it’s done.

I have seen an argument that the faces on the money are all, so far, known for working within the government. I know Harriet is kind of a two-fer, both black and female, but perhaps Frederick Douglass could be considered as an alternate?
I dunno. It’s probably too soon for RBG.
