2021 told 2020 to hold its beer:
“If in fact it is found that members of Congress were accomplices to this insurrection, if they aided and abetted the crime, there may have to be actions taken beyond the Congress in terms of prosecutions,” Pelosi said at a press conference, choking up at times as she decried the racism and bigotry some of the rioters displayed openly on Capitol grounds.
Man, that’s a gut-punch: actual insurrectionists in elected office, not just figurative ones.

I have a big problem with 2021, and it began on the very first day. It’s the fact that every time I say it, it comes out “2020 won.”
And I know that digital pics can be Photoshopped, and videos can be edited, but such machinations are usually fairly easy to discern, so I don’t understand what’s taking the Fumbling, Bumbling Idiots so long to review the evidence and begin arresting those congress-critters who so blatantly broke the Law.
Unless they’re hesitating because to arrest the miscreants in question would cause further rioting.

With Pelosi imposing fines for dodging the metal detectors and refusing to mask, some of the seditionists may find it too expensive to remain in Congress. (She’s taking it out of their salaries, no campaign slush funds allowed.) Boebert owns a restaurant and Taylor Greene ran a gym, so they probably need those paychecks.
