    I would think some book learnin’ would come in handy while piloting 80,000 pounds at speed — calculating mileage, figuring out the cost per mile, providing estimates to potential customers, average fee for the lot lizards….

      The guy who drove my household up here from California was listening to the previous Obama book on tape; it seems listening to books is a thing for long haul truckers, and this guy had an interest in poli-sci and could cite (and did) all sorts of reasons why Willard was going to lose, what was wrong with the farm bill, etc. I think it takes a special kinda person to do that job.

      And maths. They got that down cold.
