UPDATE 2:The WaPo reports that “Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) plans to introduce legislation Tuesday to impose a $1,000 fine on members who refuse to wear masks while in the U.S. Capitol complex.”

    It’s comforting somehow to know that some Republicans will be shitheads through thick and thin. It’s good to be able to identify them in the future for their callous disregard for the lives and safety of their fellow coworkers as well as each other. And since it’s unlikely that they can be prosecuted for their deliberate actions, at least we have video of them scorning and ridiculing the use of something so simple that might have prevented Covid spread.

    • If they knew they were positive the can be criminally liable. People with AIDS have been convicted and sent to prison for knowingly having unprotected sex without warning their partners.
