If you say so…
Fox News has looked around at our Failed Political Press and takes decisive steps to correct itself:
Fox News adds another hour of opinion programming to its evening schedule
“Fox News Channel is removing one of its only nighttime hours of news coverage and replacing it with a right-wing opinion show, signifying a further shift toward the incendiary programming that Fox viewers overwhelmingly prefer.
“The 7 p.m. hour, anchored by Martha MacCallum and called “The Story,” will become “Fox News Primetime” and will be led by a “rotating” cast of opinion hosts, a Fox spokesperson said Monday morning…
“…MacCallum will move to the 3 p.m. hour next Monday, Fox said.”
So effectively, there will be no night-time actual news on Fox News. Got it.
FOX seldom presented news-as-facts anyway, so no big loss there. That’s not why their viewers went there, so they might as well drop all pretense of being a news network. All Rightwing, all of the time. No fair and balanced by a long shot.

Yeah, not sure why they ever seemed to bother, for the sake of appearance, to squeeze in some tidbit to prove they were “fair and balanced”?

I’m not sure if Cable TeeVee is held to the standard of having civic-good programming as Broadcast TeeVee is held. It’s the original reason why the Sunday Talkies were invented: it met the letter of the law, to have some minimum of news (per day) and Sunday was a problem back in the day.

Like they were ever a news station and not a flat out propaganda machine for the rwnjs. Who will notice the change except Martha who probably got a pay cut to go with it. (I made that up.)

Q News Primetime has a better ring to it.

That graphic is from 2016?
Wow, that is beyond irony.
I’ve been glancing at that thing for a while now and not connecting the opposite admin dots.

Biden reinstating the fairness doctrine might be helpful, but Fox always can say they’re an entertainment network to avoid any hint of fairness.

Hannity and Colmes is what you would get.
And I used to write for Alan, so I mean no disrespect. That’s the way they treated him.

I nominate Jon Stewart to handle the decisions on true fairness.
