It’s A Dickens Year For Republicans

Never forget that Republicans would gladly refuse Oliver more gruel:

“House Republicans on Thursday blocked an effort by House Democrats to approve $2,000 stimulus payments for millions of Americans. Democrats were seeking to advance the measure after President Trump demanded it on Tuesday night, breaking with many in the Republican party.

“House Democratic leadership attempted to advance the measure by ‘unanimous consent‘ but the effort was blocked by Republican leadership.

Republicans would also fight each other for the privilege of taking away Tiny Tim’s crutch, too.

We got suckered. tRump spoke up, screwed the pooch and now, we get nothing.
I could have been happy with the 600, but no we don’t even get that now.
We might as well have tried for a universal income, for all the good it did us.
    Merry F’ing Christmas.

The RethugliKKKan grinches stole Christmas from the American people. May they all remember this, when re-election time comes back around.

You’re kidding, right? Too many will remember this as “We had a stimulus coming but when Trump said we should get more the Democrats just couldn’t do it.”
Watch the left wing (hah!) press push this narrative.

I am tempted to retell the story of Pandora’s box, and the release of Hope into the world…
What you say has merit, and the R resistance to upping the stimulus checks really should bite them, but the story will get twisted into something else.

It is up to us to remember what really happened, but not let hope deceive us, When the clowns and the jokers just won’t listen, when they spout the ridiculous and groundless stories, we can’t let it drain our courage.
But for now, let’s enjoy the holiday.
