I cannot stress this enough: handlers of politicians usually keep this sort of thing from accidentally happening, but all that has changed. This happened because Sen. Loeffler wanted it to happen.

      Dave,

      Her handlers knew who he is. You don’t get that close for a picture without clearance (and usually a donation). Someone approved it, and that someone knew exactly who he is and what the impact would be.

      Try to meet a senator some time. It’s not easy.
