If the patio is closed it’s not so much a patio as a room.
At my local hockey arena there is a door I pass by that has a sign that says “THIS DOOR TO REMAIN CLOSED”. Doesn’t that defeat the door’s entire reason for being?
Someone obviously got tired of answering the stupid question of “why” the patio wasn’t open. Anyone who ever worked with ‘the public’ can appreciate the deliciousness of this sign.
It’s the door with a “no exit” sign that tempts me. Just the slightest doubt that there may actually be a portal to a parallel universe.

Will the patio be reopened when its no longer closed?

Pleonasm or Tautology?
Pleonasm – redundancy in wording
Tautology – redundant use of words
But I repeat myself.

That’s affirmative action for doors, for you.
Another one should be open somewhere.

You may not argue with it, but no doubt some Karen (and Ken) would.
