Begging for Crumbs

Hoovervilles are the new Trump Towers

As we noted this morning,  food banks are distributing 60 percent more food to millions of first-time users, and nearly 12 million Americans will head into the new year over $5000 behind on rent, so what better time than now to offer a crumb to the peasants?

The WaPo:

“White House officials are asking Senate Republican leadership to include stimulus checks worth $600 in the emergency economic relief package currently being debated in Congress.

“Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) did not include a second round of stimulus payments in the relief proposal he released last week. Senior Republican leadership in Congress are listening to White House officials push for the inclusion of the stimulus checks… a provision also broadly supported by congressional Democrats.”

The House wagers 1 Qautloo that it’s not gonna happen.

  1. Be nice if the Ghost of Christmas Slap Some Sense Into Him would visit #MoscowMitch some night. He’ll ignore the other ones…

No, he’s an old school cruel bastard. Anyone who has lost a job is automatically a bum who is begging for a handout. This prick is partly responsible for the state America is in but, is blaming the victims. Typical republican.

      • He’s an old school Plantation Owner. He’s pissed he can’t actually own people as livestock anymore so the next best thing is to keep them voluntarily willing to work for slave wages.

This is what happens when the plutocrat and neoconfederate wings of the Grasping Old Politburo get together.

I do. Just got a thank you note from Hawaii Food Bank and I’m fixin’ to cut another check. As broke as I am at the moment, there are others in greater need.

I’d say a howling mob filling Capitol Plaza might get his attention especially if the sh*t senators limo service is forced to snivel home through the mob. It’s like they really WANT a civil war.

  7. $600 is bullshit. Seriously? That won’t get anyone far. We have had record response for food distribution at the holidays, it is terrible that so many are in need.

MD – it’s still functioning, and in the manner these crooks set it up to perform, in order to loot the Treasury, while grifting the goolies, pardoning the goombahs, pouring sand in the gears of gubmint and gumming up all the rest of the works, and making a clean getaway, afterwards.

Parts 1, 2, 3 & 4 are coming along nicely, we’re just gonna hafta wait and see how that last one goes.

And I’ve been thinking……it would be WELL worth the tax Amero$ spent, to fix-up Alcatraz, and make into a special Federal Prison, just for the tRump association familiale et proche collaborateurs, with pay-per-view access 24/7. *
