Some Stupid With Lunch?

The U.S. Lab for Bad Policy

And now a message from Sen. Cornyn:

…who somehow doesn’t know that Puerto Rico is not allowed to vote in federal elections.

I’ve wondered about this for many years now, how Puerto Ricans were granted citizenship but not statehood, and thus they are denied the Vote. The very crux of American citizenship is the ability to vote for preznits and congress-critters, so maybe with Biden at the helm, we can finally at least grant them the honor, privilege, and constitutionally-guaranteed right to vote. And maybe granting them, along with DC, statehood is the simplest and most effective way to do so.

The semi-auto toting mouth breathers down here (8-hours from reality in any direction) are SO proud of Beaker. He brags that he criticizes in private. He might be a capable office manager some day (if he learns to count above 50), but he’s just another pusillanimous pouch of purulence floating in the Texas republican punchbowl.

Start the count down for Cornyn claiming that he was just using that as an example of voting and ballot issues in general, not as a claim that this will change the federal vote numbers.

  4. I laughed until I remembered that this is actually a member of Congress.

  5. He also seems not to know that the Trump mantra this week has been “Stop the Count!”
