Still Got Some Work to Do (Defeat Mitch McConnell)

You’ve earned a break, enjoy yourselves today, but we got work to do, as St. Stacey says.

Obvious Moscow asset, amply be-chinned Mitch McConnell will grind the Biden Administration to a complete standstill. Handsome Joe still needs our help, and we need to help, um, ourselves? Sure!

Scissorhead Purplehead gave us the deets in the comments:

Many folks doubted us, but we knew Georgia is the battleground state. Now, I need your help as the fight continues.

Right now, my friends Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are headed to runoff elections in January. These elections will determine control of the United States Senate. We have a real shot at sending them both to the Senate, but as we’ve seen all year, Republicans will stop at nothing to try and block people from voting.

We cannot let that happen. That is why I am asking you, will you contribute right now to help Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock win their Senate seats and help Fair Fight ensure those elections are free and fair for all? Contributions will be split between Fair Fight, Raphael Warnock, and Jon Ossoff.

While November 3 is behind us, our fight in Georgia and across the country has just begun. Now is not the time to let up. Our work in this election is not done until Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are both heading to Washington in January.

I want to thank you for your incredible support of our fight for free and fair elections across the country. Our team at Fair Fight wouldn’t have been able to do this without your support.

Let’s get it done. DONATE!

-Stacey

I’m sure that the campaigns need more than just Ameros; contact the campaigns to see what you can do to help. January 5 is coming at us like a runaway train. Let’s get to work.

I do hope there is a specific part of the Biden transition team coming up with ways to nullify and otherwise render McConnell impotent, based on previous experience dealing with the Great Obstructionist. Additionally, some of them need to be coming up with a media blitz pointing out and reinforcing just how little McConnell does for the American people. Shouldn’t be hard, the question is can they make it stick something as slimy as him?

Joe Biden spent 36 years in the Senate- and he actually took his job seriously. If anybody knows how to deal with McConnell- it’s Handsome Joe. I really believe that Biden will have a plan. And you know he’s going to have smart, capable people helping him out.

Obama wasted his first term trying to get Republicans on board, and I hope that registered with Joe. I’m afraid that he really thinks that there is still some sort of congeniality, but congeniality there once was, it is gone with the wind.

        (See what I did there?)

Remember his snidely evil laugh during the debate with Amy? It struck me as one of those “I know something you don’t know, and I’m not telling” kind of moments, as if he knew the voting machines were pre-programmed, and that his win was guaranteed, no matter how the peasants voted.

So, Georgia – vote your Ossoff, and don’t be like Kin-fucky.

DC- you know what Mitch knew? He knew his constituency. And while Amy absolutely would have done so much for the people of Kentucky- Mitch was banking on his hateful base. The hateful base who voted not FOR what Mitch would do for them, but what Mitch would do TO the people they hate. It’s easy to hate- and those people are good at it.
