Pro-Tip: Don’t Lie To Jake Tapper

Jake Tapper will NOT be made a fool of by a chump like Mark Meadows:

Meadows is Gish-galloping at warp speed.

And then an apostate voice from within the Death Star rings out:

This is going to be the clip that everyone talks about.

Yeah – therapeutics and other mitigations have shown promise – at least in that one case of that one very special patient.

I’m going with Pence doesn’t wear a mask because it wouldn’t be proper to wear something so titillating out in public. He only does that for Mother Pence.

Mark Meadows suggests that if the magic words “essential worker” are used, then a person exposed to COVID-19 can do whatever they want.
No. That’s not how it works.
Even if you agree that Pence has some essential work, campaigning is not essential.

    Howdy y’all!

This is how bass-ackwards everything in Trump world is right now. We don’t have control over vaccines or therapeutics. There is no guarantee that any of them will work just look at our track record with various treatments from hydroxychloroquine, bleach, sunlight, and Remdesivir. We can’t control when they will come out or how effective they’ll be or who will be able to take them. We can’t control any of it. What we can control is our behavior which can affect the likelihood of contagion, like wearing a mask, social distancing, and avoiding large gatherings.

Once again, Trump and his minions are killing us with gaslighting, groupthink, and cognitive dissonance.

    It’ll fly in some circles.
Once again, I am reminded of the news cast where a “local” (closer than 100 miles away) was showing off the level of one of their parking garages, fitted out with **HVAC systems* in case they had to be used for patient overflow. The newscaster had a comment along the lines of “See, you can get ventilators if you need them.”
Use the wrong word once and you’re screwed, they’ll never let go of it. It’s a gaslight special.
