    Among the critics: a doctor affiliated with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where Trump is receiving treatment.
    “Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential ‘drive-by’ just now has to be quarantined for 14 days,” tweeted James P. Phillips, who is also a professor at George Washington University. “They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity.”

    have you considered that the orange ferret wearing treason weasel is not sick, was never sick. this is the october surprise as he springs alive from walter reed he can downplay the deadliness of the virus and say he was right all along. it’s just another grift a distraction as we get closer to the election.

      I’ve thought about it, too. It’s the same problem as most other conspiracy theories: he’d need too many other accomplices. Someone would rat it out, blood tests would show it (or not!), and you know that Mel would be cross.

    We need to stop covering this right now. He’s feeding off the attention, just as he always does. Turn off the cameras, ignore him and focus on fighting Covid and getting out the votes for Biden. Trump is a sick bastard, and I don’t mean from the virus.

    It’s all about him. Arrogance – always. If there had been anti-Trump protesters outside the hospital, does anyone doubt that he would have had his unmarked generic gestapo gas and beat the protesters just so he could pull off this supremely stupid photo op? For Trump to move from his quarantined room thru the hospital to a parking garage to drive out one hospital exit and in thru another entrance, he put everyone, patients and staff alike, at risk. Literally thousands of security and military staffers around the world had to stop what they were doing and enter a new protocol of a president* moving from a secure environment to an unsecured environment. His Secret Service detail will now have to go into quarantine, and new Secet Service details will now have to be cycled in to replace them. This was not official business, this was not an emergency, this was just pure unadulterated hubris and arrogance that endangered others just so this jackass could dominate the news cycle.

    his whole reason for being is to be seen and adored. if his room at walter reed had had a balcony he could have opted for an eva peron moment (singing ‘don’t cry for me maga morons’) so i guess he felt this was his best option.
