    They are playing cards, the trick is they’re folded slightly vertically so they stand up. This video shows it clearly.

    If however ordinary people can actually do that, I think it would make a marvellous alternative to minimum and maximum prison term limits. Instead of, “You are sentenced to 15 to twenty years,” the criminal would hear, “You are sentenced to forming a one million domino close Argyle pattern set up in a 16 by 20-foot room, and kept from falling until the warden can bring special recording equipment to document your completion of sentence.

    The prisoner would learn a wonderful degree of patience or never be released at all.
