Hoovervilles are the new Trump Towers

President Trump told reporters at a Labor Day briefing on Monday that he is “taking the high road” by not meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats to negotiate the next coronavirus stimulus package.
Why it matters: Unemployment benefits have expired for millions of Americans, but House Democrats and the White House are no closer to a deal — while nearly one in eight households are struggling to get enough to eat.
What he’s saying: “I don’t need to meet with them to be turned down,” Trump told reporters. “They don’t want to make a deal because they think if the country does as badly as possible … that’s good for the Democrats.”
- “I am taking the high road. I’m taking the high road by not seeing them,” he added.
I don’t understand how it’s the high road, but I do understand that ⅛ = 12.5% of the population is suffering, and that’s unacceptable. He’s a sociopath.
What I know is that Lord Damp Nut is 22/8ths or 275% of a dick.

Elementary, My dear Watson, it’s “the high road” in the same way that he thinks shit is Shinola.

How can he even equate dodging his preznential responsibilities as “taking the high road?” But his base will all nod their heads at this announcement, and sagely agree.
And it’s probly because they know fully-well that when you get down in the mud to have sex with a pig, you end up all muddy, and the pig’s the only one who knows who’s had a good time or not.

He (and Yertle, for some goddamned reason, since he’s supposed to be some sort of certified political genius) think that shutting down the gummint right before the election is somehow a winning strategery … unlike all the other times they’ve tried it…

Trump couldn’t take the high road if AAA towed him there.

I thought the Democrats were negotiating with the M&M’s (Meadows and Mnuchin) Why is the orange shitgibbon inserting himself into the situation if not to burn it all to the ground.
