CNN might have the story of the day. I honestly don’t have words for this:
(CNN)Before Donald Trump ever sought the Oval Office, he was preoccupied by its occupant President Barack Obama, publicly questioning his birthplace and privately describing him as “a Manchurian candidate” who obtained his Ivy League degrees only by way of affirmative action, according to a new book by Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen.
Trump’s disdain for Obama was so extreme that he took his fixation a step further, according to Cohen: Trump hired a “Faux-Bama” to participate in a video in which Trump “ritualistically belittled the first black president and then fired him.”
Cohen’s book comes out on Monday. CNN got an early copy; they have a picture of this incident.
One sick puppy!

I also read an excerpt that claims he made a lewd remark about Cohen’s then-15 yr-old daughter, along the lines of “Look at that fine piece of ass; I’d like to have some of that!” Not caring if Michael was listening or not.

I can’t wait for the Cohen book to be released. I won’t buy it, but I’m going to relish all of the tasty tidbits offered up in reviews. I don’t even care if it’s all true or not; Cohen has receipts and tapes and he’s got nothing to lose. I hope it burns Trump and his cronies to the ground.

And yet- he still has an approval rating of, checks notes, raises eyebrows and clears throat, ah, 40-44% depending on source. We are so fucked.

Seems obvious he does not much distinguish between fantasy and reality, and of course he designs his fantasies to suit his ego. If he is still around years from now I fully expect he will regale anyone willing to listen with a story about when he fired Obama.

It won’t matter what Cohen’s book says. Trump’s base is his base. & they’ll say that Cohen’s book is all “sour grapes” or something along those lines. They will NOT care.
