Now in Government Food Aid Boxes: A Letter From Donald Trump
Millions of Americans who are struggling to put food on the table may discover a new item in government-funded relief packages of fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy and meat: a letter signed by President Donald Trump.
The message, printed on White House letterhead in both English and Spanish, touts the administration’s response to the coronavirus, including aid provided through the Farmers to Families Food Box Program, a U.S. Department of Agriculture initiative to buy fresh food and ship it to needy families.
Christ on a Cracker, LDN addresses everyone in this letter, “Dear Family.” I’m amazed the phrase, Do me a favor does not appear, but he clearly is trying for some patronage.
Lord Damp Nut wants us to all be grateful for the crumbs he personally is flicking our way. What a shitheel.
So now he owes the Department of Agriculture for inclusion of this campaign material. Also, White House letterhead – doesn’t that make this as illegal as using the White House as a backdrop for a campaign event? And isn’t forcing the IRS to send out notices on their dime that LDN “personally” signed those stimulus checks (direct deposit got you a letter, instead of it being on the check!) also a violation?
What an asshole. Where’s that hop-skippity bunny when you need her to call him out? I can’t get it to load in comments anymore, alas.

I’m minded by the discussion last night on Rachel Maddow’s show (almost entirely given over to the new book “Tump versus the United States”) where she was talking about the section were Don McGahn struggled to convince him he couldn’t just personally order the AG to prosecute anyone he told him to. He really did think the AG works for him and him alone.
Trump really does think that getting elected President made him The Boss. He really did not have any concept of what it meant to be President, either the scope, the responsibilities or the limitations of the job.
He just assumed he’d be the Boss of all of us (or rather, since his addled brain cannot distinguish his actual onetime real life job as CEO of Trump org and the mythical boss of Trump Org as scripted by Mark Burnett) the “Boss of all the players”.
