Building Trump’s Wall

I guess Lord Damp Nut ran out of snakes and alligators to fill his moat at the border?

Trump officials suggested using ‘heat ray’ to repel migrants from border in 2018: report

Trump administration officials reportedly floated using a microwave “heat ray” to deter migrants from crossing the border illegally in the days leading up to the 2018 midterm elections.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials reportedly floated the idea in a meeting with top leaders of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in October 2018, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

The newspaper reported that the idea was floated on the same day that the White House stressed in a separate meeting with the DHS secretary that “extreme action” was needed to stop migrants.

It sure makes that Naturalization Ceremony on RNC night 2 feel heart-warming. What’s that you say?

Immigrant unaware naturalization ceremony would be used at Republican National Convention

At least one of the immigrants featured in the naturalization ceremony shown Tuesday during the Republican National Convention told ABC News that they were unaware that the video was going to be used during the event.

Neimat Awadelseid told ABC News she was unaware President Donald Trump was even going to attend the event, but did know it would be at the White House. She added that she signed a release so they could use footage from the event however they wanted.

Maybe they offered to heat them up if they didn’t volunteer?

Trump and his handlers can’t keep their stories straight, or they just don’t care about their blatant hypocrisy. They keep trotting out fresh lies that are opposite of what they have said and done recently and in the past. And they do it with all of the arrogance and bluster they’ve got.

And they used immigrants as props, people who didn’t realize they were part of a stage show to show how welcoming Trump is. i’m guessing the immigrant children in cages and foil blankets would have been a bad look for him.

I haven’t had the stomach for the RNC. I’ve seen clips and bits of speeches and that’s enough to prove to me that the Republicans are unmoored from reality and doing everything they can to drag the country with them. We have to vote for our lives, and that’s not hyperbole.

Yes, donnah, you’re absolutely right! This democracy stands 180-degrees opposite Suckface’s goal of establishing his dictatorship. So, he chips, chips, chips away at all this country stands for, hoping we will remain blissfully unaware of what we are losing, until it’s too late. He MUST BE STOPPED!!!
My 45 AmRev patriot ancestors are all spinning in their graves!

You only think this is excessive because you don’t realize the magnitude of the threat to our sacred nation posed by the aliens massing along our Southern border.

I’m trying to imagine how many microwave heat-ray projectors it would take to cover a 2,000-mile border, and the cost of the electricity to keep them running continuously, and the ecological effects of discharging that much energy into the regional environment. It’s probably the only idea that’s even less practical than a wall.

I was thinking it might be a parabola reflector system using sunlight, but it wouldn’t work at night, so all the markings of a Trump project: inefficient, expensive, needlessly cruel, and only sometimes workable. Microwaves is just a dumb idea. Now, lasers strapped on dolphins in the moat, and we’re cooking with gas!
