  1. Ooooh. clever clever Andy : They’re Absentee ballots, not those horrifyingly corrupt Mail-in ballots!

From the mouth of Pig Eyes himself:

This is the first election sonce 1980 that the restraining order has been lifted, and Republicans will be allowed to send operatives (IIII Percenters, US Marshalls, just about anybody, armed or not) to intimidate and harrass voters in Dem strongholds. There may be very few polling places open because of the virus. This could easily wipe out most of the votes in most cities in America. Won’t matter if they are prohibited from doing it again for another 40 years, the damage will be done. If you think this is crazy, you don’t know Republicans.

I can’t say it enough : vote by mail.

Stony – and to that I’d like to add, if at all possible – and it shouldn’t be that difficult – hand-deliver your signed, sealed ballot to the County Registrar’s Office, or whoever is the official in charge, or find one of those “special boxes” that are placed by your county in different locations, where you drop off a ballot, and be relatively assured it will reach its destination. Try to avoid mailing it, unless you have 2 weeks or more for it to arrive on time.

I’ve already requested my absentee ballot (if you haven’t, WHY????), so I’ll have two weeks. I’ll go postal. šŸ˜€

One thing if you do mail it – take it to your post office and have it postmarked by hand. More ballots get chucked for lack of a dated postmark than anything else, AFAIK.
