It’s a Q-Spiracy, I Tells Ya!

I read the news today, oh boy.

QAnon supporter wins GOP’s U.S. House runoff in N.W. Georgia

“[Marjorie Taylor Greene] spread QAnon conspiracy theories, such as the lie that George Soros sent Jewish people to die in the Holocaust. Soros, who is Jewish himself, was a teenager at the time.

“Greene in her victory speech took aim at Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, saying her victory was part of a conservative tide that will result in a change of control in the U.S. House. ‘She’s a hypocrite. She’s anti-American,’ Greene said. ‘And we’re going to kick that bitch out of Congress.’”

Quite a victory speech, methinks. One certain viewer sends his congratulations!

Gonna make a claim chowder: the new Tea Party will be Q-spracy theorists. That’s their lifeboat.

Greene is, of course, a Republican, and they did nothing to stop her nonsense. She’s all yours. Our pals at Electoral Vote fill in some of the blanks:

Down in Georgia, the big news is that Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) easily defeated John Cowan (R) in GA-14. Since that district is R+27, she’ll be heading to Congress, and she’ll be taking her predilection for conspiratorial thinking, racism, and anti-Semitism right along with her. Rep. Steve King (R-IA) was shunned and shorn of his committee assignments for hinting at things that Greene is happy to say out loud. Exactly how Republicans will deal with her is yet to be seen, though they certainly didn’t work hard to defeat her. Democrats, for their part, are going to make her the poster child for what the party of Lincoln has now become.

Cherish this moment, Georgia.

  1. Tea Party II: Electric Whackadoos!

One teensy-tiny glimmer of hope in this. This is the even lunaticker (is TOO a word!) fringe of the trumpian GOP that the nevertrumpers like Steve It’s Tits Palin! Schmidt and William The Bloody Kristol profess to hate, so maybe their lifeboats are a little …leaky??

I was under the impression that LDN was backing Marjorie “er mer gerd its er merslum” Taylor Greene’s opponent in the primary?

The memory of Steve King has no prayer against this nut.

I’m sure Frau Q-tard will squawk like a MAGAtt with a mask dilemma when Madame Speakah relegates her to a tray table in the Preston “Ah Cane Yankees!” Brooks sub-basement. You know next to the National Treasures secret vault with that broken lock (wink, wink).

I look forward to her ethics violations and censorship. Shunning would also be a nice touch.

Here’s a darkly amusing point of order: GA-14 includes most of Georgia’s northwestern corner, including—wait for it!—Paulding County.

You know, Paulding: the county whose education officials forced their schools open without masks or social distancing, and then tried to suspend the student who posted a photo of her high school. Guess which county had to partially re-close said schools this week?

Because I hadn’t seen the MPS post from earlier today, I should add that GA-14 also includes Cherokee County, which did everything Paulding did (including sending kids to quarantine) except kick out a student for taking a picture.
