Is There A Doctor In The House?

Wants to play the Candy Striper and the Doctor again? (Hat tip: Scissorhead Skinny-D)

Sweet Baby Jeebus With A Stethoscope, he’s at it again:
As far as I can tell, Dr. Scarves went on the teevee machine and didn’t lie (much?):

(CNN)Dr. Deborah Birx on Sunday said the US is in a new phase in its fight against the coronavirus pandemic, saying that the deadly virus is more widespread than when it first took hold in the US earlier this year.

…and so now she’s pushed under the bus, which means that there are [checks notes] no medical professionals in good standing on the Trump-Virus task force, not that Prznint Dr. Dare-Kill was listening to them anyway. The 4th Reich has always treated the Trump-Virus as a political operation and not a medical one. If you have not read the Vanity Fair article we mentioned last week (you know, the one where Jar-Jar suggested that the Trump-Virus was a Blue State problem, so eff-’em, they’re not gonna vote for Lord Damp Nut anyway), there’s still time. A new NBC News|SurveyMonkey poll finds 58% of Americans say they don’t trust what President Trump has said about the coronavirus pandemic, while 31% say they do trust him, so that tracks really well with the Cult numbers.
“It’s unsustainable for a democracy — and a world superpower — for a majority of citizens not to trust their president on the deadliest virus to hit the country in 100 years.” First Read
So we got that workin’ for us, too.

I didn’t see a “Grifters gonna grift” edition so far, so I’ll just drop this smelly object right here:

Trump Says He Wants a Piece of TikTok Deal
Is he an honest broker? First, President Trump threatened to ban China-based TikTok from the U.S. over worries it was too close to the Beijing government. Then he gave his blessing to Microsoft to acquire the video-sharing app’s stateside operations, along with those in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Now he’s saying the U.S. Treasury should get “key money” — an inducement normally paid to a landlord. Beijing reacted angrily, with an editorial in a state-run newspaper saying China would not accept the Trump administration’s “planned smash and grab,” and would respond accordingly.

Sources: CNBC, Bloomberg……..emboldening mine. Notice that it’s a tactic commonly used in Real Estate to, well, defraud is the onliest way I know to say it.

I have set aside forty-five seconds to sympathize with Dr. Birx. She didn’t stand up to him weeks ago when it might have made a difference, so she can just scarf off. Are we supposed to comfort every disillusioned Trumpite when the inevitable happens? Scaramucci? Omarosa? You took the job, now you can take the abuse.
