Arizonastan Sets The Pace

The terrible sand people of the terrible sand kingdom of Arizonastan.

Rep. David Schweikert (R-TSKoA) reached a deal announced Thursday to end a longstanding House Ethics Committee investigation by admitting to 11 rules violations, accepting a reprimand and agreeing to pay a $50,000 fine, the Arizona Republic reports.

“In a statement, Grace White, a spokeswoman for Schweikert, said he wanted to move ahead and didn’t address the substantive issues in the probe.”

You don’t say?

“We are pleased the Committee has issued their report and we can move forward from this chapter. As noted in the review, all issues have been resolved and Congressman Schweikert will continue working hard for Arizona’s 6th District,” she said…

I think he needs to set up profit sharing with his district. He needs to share his grift with them whut brung him.

  1. Those counts detailed how Representative Schweikert’s campaign committee falsely reported that he had loaned the campaign $100,000, when no such loan had been made, and then falsely reported making $100,000 in disbursements, which served to adjust the campaign’s reported cash on hand that was propped up by the fictitious loan,” the report said.

Send your quatloos, dollars, rubles and stray couch munnies of any denomination or currency¹ to Hiral Tipirneni … she came within a few whiskers of kicking his ass outta there in 2018…

Profit sharing? Have you ever even met a Republican?
They would sooner sacrifice their pets mother children …something of value to them, whatever that might be.

Point is, they ain’t giving it up.

    • I think the word you’re grasping for, there, is ‘their money’ They would be unwilling to sacrifice their MONEY to profit sharing.

Their greed and grasping nature would make a Ferengi blush.

They are entirely happy and willing to sacrifice OUR money to Loss sharing, though!

So, a slap on the wrist, a small fine, and back to work grifting again. That is one fine Justice Department in action.
Good thing he wasn’t caught protesting, now there is a serious crime.
