It’s Trump Time!

Trump Time!

Guys, Hair Füror has signed a memo to prohibit the government from counting undocumented immigrants when it uses the 2020 Census to allocate political representation. And before we get too fair into his Pocket Nazi’s latest grab, let’s remember that the Prznint has no authority over the Census, this memo about scaring undocumented immigrants out of participating in this year’s census. And it is likely to work!

(Yes, I know: memos do not have the weight of law, but it will make headlines.)

The Constitution explicitly requires Census takers to count every person living in the country, regardless of their immigration status. The definition of a person was solved, oh, about 1868, so I don’t think anyone wants to go there.

Anyway, Hair Füror has instructed Commerce Secretary Wilbur ‘Zzzzzzz’ Ross to exclude undocumented immigrants from the numbers when allocating seats in Congress, which will ensure White Power, er, Possum Hollar will hold its kung-fu grip for a while longer.

Expect law suits. Plenty of ’em.

THAT’S their entire s’tragedy, right there – lawsuits. Filed Fast & Furiously, for fame or fortune, or just frivolously, as long as the Courts are clogged from now until 2036, (when he can finally retire with his sweet pattooty, Pooty-poot,) preventing ANYONE else from taking over as Prez, coz the Supremes will not only allow it, they’ll CONDONE IT!!~!

And I bet ALL my Quatloos they might even nullify the various State’s results, or declare them void, or unnecessary, leaving Congress just as it is. [Legal justification: if a new Prez can’t be determined till all the suits are settled, then it’s not fair to have ANY other positions filled.]

    • REdistricting doesn’t occur until the year AFTER the Census. One of the 13,876 EO’s PResident Biden’s gonna need to sign at 12:01 on Jan 21 is one countermanding this. because even if the Turd Reich cannot govern it’s way out of a paper bag, a new Dem administration’s gonna come in like this

The military might be as reluctant to back an “unauthorized” (by the SC,) transition orf power. Just as reluctant as they were to continue backing Rump’s power-play after Lafayette. REdistricting will NOT occur, per the SC’s orders, as the Census will not be finished – ever.
He’s diggin in like a tick, and you know how hard they are to remove; and it will matter not how many illegal or unlawful actions they perpetrate, as long as the Courts back them up. Look at what they’ve gotten away with so far, and as we enter the “Home Stretch,” they are going to double, triple, and quadruple-down.

And do you think the police in your city are going to do battle with Rump’s Gestapo? And in these cases, the Govs CAN’T deploy the Nat Guard, not without at least the approval of the Pentagon, I believe, or under orders of the CoC

IF the Census does get finished, guess who gets to collect the data, and decides who gets to see it? No one impartial, I can guarantee you that; the numbers will end up side-by-side on a trash heap that is also home to the Covid-19 death numbers….

    DC –

The Census is actually a responsibility called-out in The Constitution. It has to be held and it must be completed. It is not optional.

That is not to say that the GOP couldn’t eff -it-up a thousand ways to Sunday, but it cannot be cancelled without amending the Constitution. And you can ask our friend the ERA how well that’s been working out.

TG – aren’t the results collected and tabulated by the Treasury Dep’t? Who then determines how much Congress gets to see, due to the utmost in privacy related to the data? How can we be sure the results ARE as declared? I can’t find much about the whole process, except that everyone seems to assume that ol’ Wilbur & Gang will do the right thing, just as has always been done, but if the numbers don’t do much to cheer Rump up, then they’ll just hold on to everything, and keep it all under wraps, or even destroy certain portions of the results.
