States Rights

Keep punching!

Next time your Facebook Rage Uncle screams states rights at you, show him this tweet/video:

The moment during Chimpy’s Reign of Error that the Department of Homeland Security was born, pretty much every blogger worth his beans said, WTF? Why Not Just Call It The Gestapo?

We were right then and we are right now.

If sanity is ever restored to our country, the DHS must be disbanded, chopped into bits scattered to the 4 corners of this flat earth and buried in salted and sanctified grounds and performed with whatever rituals of the dark arts are required so it is never reassembled and  resurrected.

Also, Chad Wolf needs to be called up before a Truth and Reconciliation Trial. This man and his kind of behavior needs to be called out.

This president and his administration continue to erode away our Constitutional rights and we aren’t standing up to them. I sense that our Congress is thinking that we can hold out until Nov. 3, but that’s too late. These Neo Nazi thugs will take city after city if we do nothing. And people should be sounding major alarms to give this threat the value it has.

The president is sending unidentified military-armed forces into Sanctuary Cities and other Democratically-represented cities. They started in Portland and will start showing up elsewhere. They are pulling protesters off the streets without explanation. This should be getting major attention and action.

  3. This is getting scary. John Yoo, torture enthusiast and authoritarian is advising the WH that the upholding of DACA means the President doesn’t need legal justification for anything he does, and he can start issuing executive orders to do what he wants. https://www.axios.com/trump-executive-orders-supreme-court-daca-3d369f16-d9db-4e39-b8a0-946e670797b2.html

Note: the DACA decision was essentially “You dumb fuck, if you want the policy rescinded, just use the right TP-297 form!” They didn’t rule that he couldn’t overturn DACA, he just had to write the order to do it. But because he’s pathologically invested on doing things in the most underhanded way possible, at a remove from his own tiny hands, it is impossible for him to take even the simplest above-board steps to achieve his goals, even when it’s the simplest way to achieve his goals.

And John Yoo needs to be brought before the Hague. They put Hitler’s laywers and judges in the dock at Nuremberg for the same things he’s done.

Can’t the Govs call out the Nat Guard to repel these thugs? It’s clearly an ANNOUNCED Act of Aggression against American citizens, on American soil, by an entity out to harm or kill us. I can’t find much in the Constitution that deals with this, EXCEPT IT’S A MAJOR VIOLATION of Posse Comitatus. The Prezinent does not have that power, and I think the rest of the Military will NOT back that play, and Congress? The House, anyway? We hear nary a peep, these days, and nights; these long, interminable nights, where you wake up dreading waking up, wondering how much of the World is left out there.

This has to end, and soon, or All IS lost…
