Trump Is Trying To Kill Us, Part Infinity

Lord Damp Nut is not a monster, he’s just ahead of the curve.

A day after the 4th Reich removed Trump-Virus data collection from the Centers for Disease Control to the Department of Health and Human Services, public-facing data was death-panelled. The CDC’s hospital-capacity dashboard was taken down, then restored with the note:

Now, who could have thunk that this would upset people? I mean, our Stable Jenius, Lord Damp Nut hisself wouldn’t miss the data, so who would. Amirite?

No I am not right! The administration was quickly forced to put most of it back, but now we know their secret plan to cure the Trump-Virus: bury the dead hookers, er, data and then the data cannot be reported, capische?

The data that the CDC can no longer update includes current inpatient and ICU-bed capacity, health-care worker staffing, and PPE-supply status. All information of which might be really valuable for managing a crisis.

“To cut [the CDC] out and to take it out of their hands and to build, frankly, what sounds like a redundant system that would be—and it’s unclear where it’s going to be— housed in the White House, I think that just risked really politicizing what we need to have: a science-based, fact-based capability, which should be in the CDC.”

It’s quite extraordinary, the same mentality that, “if you don’t test so much, there won’t be so many cases.” Undermining the credibility of the CDC by depriving it of data is insanity.

It’s all part of the republican mantra of having a “night watchman” type of small, ineffective government. One where every agency outside of the military and police are defunded and destroyed leaving the majority of us poor citizens to fend for ourselves in some type of Randian hellscape.

      • Does ‘fending for ourselves’ include rising up and smashing that night-watchmanand his oligarch bosses to pieces and establishing a new government? I believe there’s a relevant document from 1776 available for advice…

Asking for a cell ‘some friends’.

The Joker-in-Chief also complained that testing keeps turning up positive cases so the solution is to do less testing, which would result in fewer cases, right? In his brain worm infested mind, the tests actually create virus infections so doing fewer tests would eventually result in no cases.

    Covid-19 approves Trump’s message.

    • Governor Doug “Il Deuce and he better remember what happened to the real Il Duce” Ducey said substantially the same thing at his presser yesterday:

      https://tucson.com/news/local/eviction-protection-for-arizona-renters-affected-by-coronavirus-pandemic-extended/article_4037bd72-db70-5a90-a606-88d80a83e549.htm

Ducey also said at his news conference that:

      • He won’t implement the latest recommendations from the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention recommending that Arizona further reduce restaurant capacity and limit crowd sizes to control spread of the virus.

he doesn’t expect us to vote…he expects us to DIE

      • He remains opposed to issuing a statewide mask order, saying giving the option to local governments is a better alternative.

“The better to kill you, my dears!” he hissed.

•The percentage of COVID-19 tests that come back positive — a figure that has pushed Arizona to the top nationally — will decrease as the state starts testing people who are not sick or showing symptoms.

Blink blink blink..HOW will we do that. People are waiting in lines for up to EIGHT HOURS for a test…which are taking 8-12 days to come back…

      • He is counting on Congress to approve another aid package, including extended unemployment benefits, meaning he need not decide now whether to boost state-provided payments, which are the second-lowest in the nation.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I repeat: he expects us to die Note: some unemployment payments can be as low as $114 a week. The max is $240 a week. I tells yah those moochers are living high off the hog!

      • And he and state Health Director Cara Christ both said the fact that the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office has run out of space and has ordered refrigerator trucks to store bodies can’t be blamed solely on the pandemic.

[Narrator] Yes, yes it can you fucking morons…

I don’t like what you’re saying, because you are describing monsters acting in what they think is their own interests, but I like how you’re saying it.

I think you give him too much credit.
I doubt he thinks about it that way.All he cares about is ratings, so getting the numbers down is his mission. That’s it. He doesn’t really care whether the numbers have any relation to reality as long as they’re down. What passes for logic in that wormy brain tells him that driving COVID-19 numbers down will make his ratings go up. Someone probably made the mistake of telling him (or saying this where he could overhear) that his ratings poll numbers will not go up until new COVID cases go down, not realizing that he’ll misinterpret the problem, come to the wrong conclusion and be unshakable in his confidence in the stupid-ass solution to the real problem – Trump popularity.

What it takes to make some people believe.
    From CNN:
Former game show host Chuck Woolery’s son has Covid-19, a spokesperson for Woolery said Thursday.

“Chuck’s son is fine and asymptomatic,” Mark Young, with Jekyll and Hyde Advertising, told CNN.
Woolery made news late Sunday when President Donald Trump retweeted Woolery saying everyone is lying about Covid-19.
“The most outrageous lies are the ones about Covid 19. Everyone is lying,” Woolery said in that tweet.
“The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most, that we are told to trust. I think it’s all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I’m sick of it,” his tweet said.
Woolery deactivated his Twitter account Wednesday, Young said.
In his last posted tweet, Woolery said, “Covid-19 is real and it is here.”
“My son tested positive for the virus, and I feel for those suffering and especially for those who have lost loved ones,” Woolery said in a tweet on Monday morning, which still lives in the cache of digital archive sites.

    • That is what it ALWAYS takes for a conservative to believe.

Abortion? Wrong until it’s THEIR 14-year-old daughter.

Gay RIghts? A sin, until it’s THEIR 27 year old son.

Disaster relief? Wasteful government spending until it’s THEIR (second or third vacation home) under water.

Prison and criminal prosecution reform? A libtard bleeding heart waste of time until it’s THEIR turn in the barrel.

They have ZERO capacity for empathy beyond their own immediate family. (and I’ll wager most of them fake that as well.

How did we end up with an entire political wing in this country composed of sociopaths

Valid question- with no easy answer. I think the answer lies in the fact that for over 30 years the Republican Party has been pushing the policy that selfishness is good and should be practiced until we are all dead. Also known as the “Fuck you, I got mine” party platform.
