NBC Nightly News said that if Floriduah (Motto: “Home of the Newly Wed and the Nearly Dead”) were a country, it would have the world’s fourth-highest tally of new Trump-Virus cases (a record 15,300!) for the 24 hours ending yesterday, after the U.S. (66,281), Brazil (45,048) and India (28,637).
Forty (40!) hospitals around the state are out of ICU beds. “Please die quickly at home” might become the new state motto.
And so it behooves us to ask, well, what’s the Administration’s strategy?
Tiger Beat on the Potomac morning email thingie leads with the answer:
IN FLORIDA, some 15,300 CORONAVIRUS cases were reported in the last day. Health experts are warning of a resurgence of the virus. Yet, the White House is spending its time slagging ANTHONY FAUCI, slinging opposition research about his misjudgments or misstatements as he was trying to prepare the nation for the coronavirus.
A LOT OF WHITE HOUSE AIDES shake their heads when they look at the president’s Twitter feed, or complain when he otherwise strays off message. But they’re focusing their energy on trying to railroad the nation’s popular infectious disease doctor in the middle of an active pandemic that has killed more than 130,000 Americans.
The Fourth Reich is attacking Dr. Fauci.
This is like blaming the restaurant where you spilled the sauce on your shirt, when the laundry cannot get the stain out.
