Meanwhile, In Seattle…

Our local news blog has an excellent write-up, if you want to learn how a Confederacy monument happened to be in Seattle.

I don’t know much about Daughters of the Confederacy but I would be surprised if they paid to have it repaired and put back up. I think that they have other battles ahead in Dixie that probably are higher priority.

“It just fell down”, just like the Confuddracy.

Tengrain, are you waiting for the jokes about the ghosts of Jimi and Bruce?
Fun fact, one of the rumors in town used to be that you could often find a joint at Jimi’s gravesite. I never looked. Not my thing.

I didn’t think Jimi was actually here. I have seen Bruce and Brandon Lee’s graves, tho.

I’ve walked past Curt Cobain’s house, the new owners must love having to clean the shrine in the driveway every day.

Shouldn’t Trump’s proposed statuary garden be installed at Mar-A-Lago ? That way, Trump can emulate his hero, Robert E. Lee (i.e., Arlington Cemetery) ?
