Of course, Mississippi couldn’t bring themselves to remove an affront to racial freedom without getting an affront to religious freedom in return. Therefore the new flag MUST say In God We Trust on it.

If you believe blacks and people are two different things I’m pretty sure you’re an irredeemable racist shite-bag.

  3. Mississipi god-DAYUM! Also, can I engrave that comment on a nice, stout oak cluestick and smack Justice “Racial discrimination is a thing of the past, so fuck the VRA” Roberts upside the head with it? It surely seems as though he needs it.

I would guess that the “People” the election commissioner is referring to don’t have the same motivation as “the blacks”. They like to talk about heritage in reference to confederate monuments and flags, “the blacks” have a sense of heritage also, a very distinct one rooted in hundreds of years of oppression and inequality, which should account for the motivation behind voter registration efforts. Election commissioner’s comment should only serve to further that motivation.

republican operatives will never learn to be discreet. They love to brag about their failed ideology too much.

This is true Roket- they must brag because the really believe that most people agree with them. Dolt45 has indeed emboldened the racist rhetoric and thus propagated the “silent majority” myth. The fact that is sickens the rest of us is a feature of their bragging behavior, not a bug.

This gives me thoughts about for-profit prisons.
There are people, and then there is prison fodder.

True, and of course there is a different sort of prison for “People” such as the Martha Stewart types.

Yes, as opposed to wage slaves and the sharecropper class.
When certain people talk about People, the are not talking about me.

        Stronger together.
