Social distancing AND masks, Griswolds.

They may change the recommended distance for buffaloing to double that, following yesterday’s incident @Jellystone…

Did it involve pic-a-nik baskets?

No, she wanted to get a “selfie” with the ootsey-cutesy, fuzzy-wuzzy buffalo. A lot try. Some do, some die.
And both Boo-boo and Yogi were laughing too hard too snatch her pik-a-nik basket, nor a tisket, or a tasket either!
Geez – she got within 10 feet of a bison to take photos.

When we were in Yellowstone a few years back we were reading a sign warning people of the severe burn hazard you would face if you left the boardwalk. A Ranger walked up beside us and said “you know, in all the years I’ve been here we’ve had to rescue hundreds of ‘smart’ humans who wander too close to the geysers but only once have we ever had to rescue a ‘dumb’ animal”.
Telephoto lenses — How do they work and why would I want one?
i have an ‘aunt edna’ and even 6 feet is far too close.
Just today I read of a 70 something year old that was horned by a Bison at Yellowstone.
You’d think by that age you’d know not to get close to the Buffalo.
Must have been a tRump supporter, is all I can say.
