Supreme Court rules that workers cannot be fired for being gay or transgender
The Supreme Court ruled Monday that employers cannot fire employees based on their sexual orientation or gender identity under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Hobby Lobby is gonna be pissed.
Well, now they’re just going to double down on their efforts to be allowed to continue lynching them.

Finally, a win for decency and equality. This ruling comes as a bright spot during unsettled times and a big victory for so many people. And even on a different scale, it is a major move by our newly Conservative majority Supreme Court. Well done!

I smell a paradox coming. A baker can refuse, on religious grounds, to bake a cake for a gay wedding, But he can’t fire the gay employee who refuses, on religious grounds, to bake a cake for a straight wedding. Oh what fun!

I wonder what happens when the bigot baker’s employee bakes a cake for a same-sex wedding?
