Coronavirus Contact Tracers Are Facing Death Threats And Comparisons To Nazis On Facebook And YouTube

“Contact tracers are the new Gestapo,” one post said.

Possum Hollar, y’all.

ISD has also uncovered death threats against contact tracers posted to Facebook. One, posted to a group called Reopen Missouri, features an image of a gun with the caption, “Public Service Announcement…When the Contact Tracer arrives at your door…This is the proper greeting.” Another post asks, “Question, who will shoot at Contact Tracers if they try and Force You To Comply?” The first reply: a GIF of a man enthusiastically waving a raised hand.

The LATimes email thingie:

As California rapidly reopens its economy, health officials have made clear the only way to avoid a wave of new coronavirus infections is with strict safety rules, including social distancing, limits on the capacity of businesses and wearing face coverings when around other people.

Yet a mask rebellion is underway in some parts of the state, with residents pushing back on mandatory face-covering rules even with coronavirus cases on the rise and as more businesses open their doors and some people yearn to return to old routines.

The potency of mask politics became clear this week in Orange County, where the health officer resigned after weeks of attacks — and a death threat — over her mandatory mask rules. Amid intense pressure from the Board of Supervisors, her replacement rescinded the rules and substituted them with a strong recommendation to wear masks in public settings.

Now, of California’s 15 most populous counties, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Clara, Alameda, Sacramento, Contra Costa, San Francisco and San Mateo counties require mask wearing in public, while Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Fresno, Kern, Ventura and San Joaquin do not.

But there’s increasing evidence that face coverings are essential to allow a broader reopening. Places that have kept coronavirus transmission under control, such as Hong Kong and Taiwan, have virtually universal wearing of masks in public. And a recent study out of Germany found that face masks reduce the daily growth rate of reported infections by around 40%.

Anyway, it seems that the culture wars now extends to public health beyond Libtard Mask-Wearing Snowflakes. These cultist goobers are gonna get us all killed.

Yes, yes they are. AZ Gov ‘Il Deuce’ Ducey was asked yesterday about Arizona’s rapidly worsening covid-19 situation (record new number of cases at hospitals, nearly full ICU’s) and his response was basically ” ¯_(ツ)_/¯”

It’s a death cult top to bottom.

This is why I refused to be a phone Contact Tracer in my town. I knew that I would be “thanked” for my efforts with responses such as this.

According to Woldometers the following states reported more than 1K new cases yesterday:

    California – 3,574
    Texas – 2,023
    Florida – 1,698
    Arizona – 1,412
    North Carolina – 1,177

I suspect Oklahoma will be giving these states a run for their money around about the middle of July.

Same source (Worldometers) – we’ll have had more deaths from COVID-19 than U.S. military deaths from WW I (as noted at ElectoralVote) sometime today. Like, maybe in an hour or two.
(it’s about 11:3o am – Pacific time, and I don’t want any claim chowder. Too bad for me)

      • And a HUGE number of those military deaths were from…the pandemic flu…unless they’re only talking about combat-related ones.

That point is not mentioned in the chart. It just says “military deaths only” in the notes.
The Spanish Flu has its own entry. I hope we don’t reach that level. Please. And, BTW, the worldometer site records us passing the WW I death toll this afternoon.
There is no emoji for this shit. Even the shit emoji has a little smile.

This is what comes of tolerating the anti-vax nonsense all these years. For much of the population, stupidity has become a way of life.

As a native Californian, and as one who has lived in numerous locales all throughout the state, I can tell you with the utmost honesty and sincerity that those counties all have one thing in common – Devin Nunes’s Cow could call any of them home….as would his daddy
