All Is Well, Part Infinity

HAHAHAHA! [gasps for breath] HAHAHAHA!

“If the economy continues to crater, I think that presents serious problems for the president,” said Michael McAdams, the press secretary for the National Republican Congressional Committee, the House GOP’s campaign arm.

McAdams added that he thinks “hands down Republicans win the issue of the economy overwhelmingly” and “Republicans and President Trump have shown they have the ability to steer the economy back to the record highs we saw before the pandemic,” McAdams said.

They do: It’s their ability to get their asses kicked at the pollls when they leave the economy a smoking ruin, let the Democratic Administration fix things while they mount a “grassroots” astroturf “Tea Party” 5th column sabotage effort dynamiting everything in sight to make it worse for the voters while loudly and constantly complaining about how the [insert appropriate epithet here] in the White House and those Tax-n-spend libtards in the House repair all the damage ‘blow up the defiicit and the National Debt’.

What have we learned here class? CLASS, CLAAAAASS! That, steer the economy back to the record highs means “in the ditch’. Make note of it for your driver’s test.

    Does McAdams even hear himself?
In one statement he says “…the economy continues to crater…” and, possible in the next sentence, “hands down Republicans win the issue of the economy overwhelmingly”
Those record highs he mentions must be record high income equality. The only thing these dolts have accomplished is shifting the tax code to favor the richest among us.

Trump and his minions will have precious little time to rebuild anything. They rode Obama’s coattails economically and then got regular boosts from the Fed and all the rich kids played in the Stock Market with big wins.

If things worsen or even if they get a bit better, Republicans and their lousy Leader will take the blame and the public, at least the non-cult public, will see how badly Trump failed. They should be worried.

The trick is making it stick to their greasy hides. You know they’ll be slithering out of taking any responsibility even as they grasp for the brass ring of claiming credit for anything good that ever happened anywhere.
