Weinstein Is Guilty

They took him away, in handcuffs. Axios has the details.

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance:

“These are the eight women who changed the course of history in the fight against sexual violence. These are eight women who pulled our justice system into the 21st century.”

(Dawn Dunning, Miriam Haley, Jessica Mann, Annabella Sciorra, Tarale Wulff, and Lauren Young—and the two Assistant District Attorneys who tried the case, Joan Illuzzi and Meghan Hast are the 8 women.)

I’m aware of the fact that it took more than 90 women to bring this man to justice, and that ratio astonishes me. Harvey Weinstein is a monster.

Just one question — Why didn’t Roger Stone get the same government accommodations after his sentencing?

A bigger question is why was Judge Jackson so lenient with her sentencing since it was Stone who threatened her multiple times last year via social media?

Stone had already filed an appeal against the presiding judge; Weinstein’s lawyers have yet to appeal, but they will.
Clearly the zimmer frame didn’t generate enough sympathy; expect Weinstein to show up for the appeal in a wheel chair, wearing an oxygen mask and, ah la Augusto Pinochet, suffering dementia.

What turned him into such a monster is the REOWA syndrome, the “Rich, Entitled, Old White Asshole” attitude that goes right along with excessive wealth, privilege, middle-age hair loss and severe halitosis.

Quataloos on how long till he flies off to Jef Epstein’s private island, Mai Tais, little boys and laughing his ass off “commits suicide?”

  7. OMG, I am SO glad. I remember him from the old “Harvey & Corky” days here in Buffalo. He was a monster back then, too. He never assaulted me but he never had a chance. He tried to feel me up more than once. You couldn’t walk past him without his hands being all over you. What a absolute jerk.
