‘Fool Me Twice, Never Fooled Again’

“If I’m lying, may God… hey! I didn’t finish!”

Hey guys, remember during the Great 2018 Pie Fight when Lord Dampnut was chasing phantom caravans in the desert heading to the southern border (with the US military deployed in what was probably an illegal stunt never to be prosecuted)? And remember how he was bleating and braying on and on about middle class tax cuts?

Well, it’s election season again!

“President Donald Trump’s long-promised “Tax Cuts 2.0” plan will be released in September, with a 10% cut for middle-income taxpayers under discussion, a top White House official said today. “In a meeting in the Oval, I guess two days ago, he looked at me and he said, ‘Let’s get it out by September,” National Economic Council director Larry Kudlow told Fox Business Network. “We’d love to have a 10% middle-class tax cut, and we would love to strengthen and make permanent some…other tax cuts.” “It will come out sometime in September,” he said.

Stung by criticism their 2017 tax overhaul didn’t do enough for average Americans, Republicans have been raising the prospect of another round of tax cuts for almost two years. Among the ideas that have been under consideration is what the administration envisions as a 15 percent tax rate on the middle class, though it’s unclear how that would work.

Trump first raised the possibility of a “Phase Two” tax cut in March 2018.

If I were in the military, I’d be stocking up on sunscreen.

Here’s hoping Lord Dampnut’s great health care program gets announced first.

We’re also just now discerning and discovering that the DHS and CBP and ICE declarations last year that refugee holding facilities were “at or above capacity” was a total lie. Most of those border facilities were at 50% capacity AT THE MOST, with a few even being empty for weeks on end. Oh, yeah – we heard all about the overcrowded ones, but I can’t remember ANY news source informing us of this fact until just recently. And whether it was the NY Times or the WaPo, it took several FOIA requests before the Gov’t. finally yielded the records, quite unwillingly.

And they’re also not mentioning that the number of refugees and illegal immigrants has dropped severely from even 2015/16 levels, to the point where it’s scarcely a problem anymore. Which is why and how they can “free-up” so many agents and officers to go to so many so-called “sanctuary cities,” with the bulk of them being sent to LA and SF.

But this has NO comparison to Hitler sending his SS and Gestapo agents out into the streets, to look for das Juten, or Romanians, or homosexuals, or just to remind the populace that it was incumbent on them to report ANY suspicious behaviour on their neighbor’s part, and that failure to do so would result in the same punishment rendered to those “evil wrongdoers, those criminals, those animals.

It’ll work real easy: promise it before the election, forget about it after.
