As The Swallows Return To Old San Juan…

…Susan Collins returns to the fold.

WASHINGTON ― Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) announced Tuesday that she does not support removing President Donald Trump from office, sticking with her party on another controversial vote ahead of a tough reelection fight in November.

“I do not believe the House has met its burden of showing that the president’s conduct, however flawed, warrants the extreme step of immediate removal from office,” she said in a short speech on the Senate floor.

Sen Collins was just waiting for the millions of dollars (much from an organization in Hawaii) to hit her accounts before announcing her vote. She’s a;ready established many times over what she is. She and McConnell were just dickering over the price.

When the time finally arrives, when it’s HER turn to become just another speed bump beneath the bus, she’ll gaze around in wonderment, disbelieving this could be happening to her. But it was her disloyalty to the royalty that sealed her fate. She hasn’t learned to keep her mouth shut, even when there are headlines featuring her name in a 30-size type font that could be garnered.

“The president’s conduct, however flawed”? Bodies on 5th Avenue? She is not very smart and / or she thinks we aren’t.
