And In Another Parallel Universe…

Schrödinger’s Senator gives America the bird.

Schrödinger’s Senator, the physics paradox known in this dimension as Rand Paul, a man from the multiverse where anything is possible including being elected in the 2016 Goat Rodeo and being elected to the Senate or both or neither can happen at the same time or never, Rand Paul is taking the impeachment trial seriously:

“The decorum guidelines state that reading materials “should be confined to only those readings which pertain to the matter before the Senate.” But apparently Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul missed that memo. While most senators were taking their duties seriously, the Kentucky Republican seemed less interested, according to ABC News’ John Parkinson. Parkinson said he noticed Paul was using a piece of paper to cover up a crossword puzzle. The answers were uncovered to the left. When Paul was prepared to write an answer, Parkinson said the senator briefly moved the paper concealing the crossword, revealing the breach in decorum.”

Sen. Paul, as you may recall, wanted the impeachment dismissed before it even began. Six-letter word ending in “er” to describe Paul?

A few summers ago, fortune found me standing next to Rand Paul in a National Airport men’s room.
A few take-aways: 1) he’s really short, 2) amazingly, I think that’s his real hair, and 3) the self-certified Doctor of Ophthalmology didn’t wash his hands.

Hello TG. Speaking of how seriously the republicans are taking the impeachment trial I just read Marsha Blackburn is openly reading a book, ignoring what the Democrats are presenting. She apparently left the Chamber yesterday to give an interview to State Propaganda TV. I guess the Republicans think they do not need to hear the evidence. Hugs

Scottie – I heard that several Republicans left for interviews on Fox — and then later saw at least one news account was retracting the story because the Republican in question (Sen. Josh Hawley from MO) actually recorded it earlier. It also makes his statement that he heard nothing new highly suspect because he had not heard anything at all yet.

Anyway, I’m trying to be careful about spreading misinformation, but yeah: Marsh Blackburn is the worst.

Hello TG. I am watching the coverage on C-Span. They are taking calls right now during the break. The cult of tRump callers are nuts to the extreme. They are full of conspiracy theories and totally talking already debunked stuff. Plus spouting just whacked out stuff. It is incredible that these people believe this crap and remember they vote. Hugs
