2024 Goat Rodeo Preview

Axios warns us, er, tells us that Possum Hollar is all moist in their nethers about starting a royal family and would support the candidacy of Junior Mints  –the Dauphin of Dumb– and Princess Purses to be heir apparent to the the White House in 2024, if the termites have not finished off Mike Pence by then.

I know, Survey Monkey, right?

Methodology: The SurveyMonkey online poll was conducted among U.S. adults ages 18 and older. Respondents were selected from the more than 2 million people who take surveys on the SurveyMonkey platform each day. Data have been weighted for age, race, sex, education and geography, using the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey to reflect the demographic composition of the U.S. age 18 and over, including 2016 vote.

  • The survey was conducted Dec. 14-17 among 4,436 adults, including 1,854 Republicans/leaners and 1,769 Democrats/leaners. The modeled error estimate for this survey is plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

That totals to 175% – how many choices did each respondent have? If this was the entire slate, I’m thinking Dem/leaners would simply opt out of the survey, no matter how many vipers they were allowed to choose.

    • From the caption it appears that only the Republicans were offered this particular slate of vipers.

And Marco Rubio??? He’d be the first president to attach the Resolute Desk to the wind vane on the roof so he could more easily tell which way the wind was blowing what his policy should be…

He’d also have a Rolodex-like mechanism on the desk that automatically chose some random Biblical psalm-of-the-day to flash overhead like a stock-ticker. Meanwhile, poor Tim Scott still won’t have broken the “color barrier” with the average GOP voter.

If the question was “which of the following would you consider voting for”, that implies respondents could check off as many possible candidates as they liked.

Interesting that Pence is the most popular. Apparently a lot of a president’s support is transferable to his VP (similar to how Biden is so popular among black Democrats).

Hello TG. Well tRump has compared his family to the family of the Queen of England and told people his family was the American royalty. I remember reports saying he told her that his kids were royalty like hers. Self appointed I guess, although his cult base does treat him that way. On his spawn taking over after he dies in office in … well he has refused to endorse Pence when asked, so he clearly wants his own hell spawn in the office after him. Hugs

…..and Tim Scott? From the party of racist bigots and imbeciles? Really? His name actually came up? That I’d like to see!

Poor Eric must be heartbroken at being left out.
