You cannot make up a plot twist this stupid, no one will believe you:
The NYTimes reported that Wrong-Again Rudy went to Kiev to meet with former Ukraine prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko, who’s under investigation for corruption.
Rudy also tried to meet with former prosecutors Viktor Shokin and Kostiantyn H. Kulyk, who are also under investigation, and all of whom played a role in promoting conspiracy theories about the Bidens.
And he did it just as the impeachment hearings began in the Judiciary Committee, thus reminding everyone of the storyline, and of course compelling The Russian Usurper to start claiming that he only kinda knew Rudy, you know, from back in the day. “He was everywhere, but we were never friends,” Comrade Stupid wanted to say.
OK, basic Rudy stuff so far, a little goofy, probably not a good idea, trying to make a conspiracy theory into reality while impeachment reality was on trial on television.
So what pushes it into the category of art, you ask?
The trip was part of a documentary series, being produced by One America News, the more right-wing-than Fox news outlet, to promote Trump and argue that he should under no circumstances be impeached. The whole thing is presumably filmed, which will make it very convenient to be entered into evidence.
