About Last Night…

“I ran so far away-ay-ay…”

Two out of three governors’ races in the south have gone for the blue and away from the Orange, inspite of his multiple visits and the RNC throwing millions of Ameros their way. Anyway, last night John Bel Edwards was re-elected by a non-trivial number of voters. His opponent was Preznint Stupid, btw.

Two elections is a small data set, and I suppose we shouldn’t draw too many conclusions from it. Prznint Stupid said it was personal: “And the headlines the next day: Trump took a loss. I lift him up a lot. So Trump took a loss, so you got to give me a big win, please. OK? OK? ”

No. Not even when you begged could you get this candidate across the finish line.

Anyway, if there is one thing we can conclude over a much larger dataset starting with the 2018 elections, it is that Prznint Stupid is a singularity. Other Republicans try to imitate his schtick and lose (Ed Gillespie in Virginia gubernatorial election in 2017 being a great example), or they cling close to him and lose like Eddie Rispone last night.

We keep saying it, there is no Trumpism, there is only the Republican Party. And what he is showing us is that he has no coattails. If Trump’s catchfart Republicans in the Senate were smart, they would see that his support is actually really shallow in non-district (read gerrymandered) elections.

We expect later today for our Narcissist-in-chief to distance himself from the loss.

Both gubernatorial wins are great for the national democratic party, but it should be pointed out as the national party drifts leftward, there are still states and districts like KY and LA that are still very conservative, but have begun to awaken to the destructive nature of morally bankrupt republicans. Matt Bevins was widely known as a carpet-bagging prick whose policies were outright corrupt and who felt as if he could reign as some type of king seeing how dolt4.5 ‘governed’ in DC. Rispone, a failed businessman, never had a shot as he tried to use fear-mongering to appeal to the voters in LA who have realized that Edwards, while not perfect, has a herculean task on his hands to clean up the multiple messes left by another worthless republican by the name of Piyush “Bobby” Jindal.

Hopefully, this is a sign that people have awakened to the fact that the modern day republican party is nothing more than an emotional cult devoted to wall st. and white nationalists.

Donnie Five Chins made three trips to Louisiana to campaign for Rispone. Just another failure for the traitor, although he enjoyed his hate-rallies.

That photo is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve seen in my many years on this earth.
