Breaking: Federal appeals court rejects Trump’s bid to block House subpoena for his financial records

“Noooooooo!”

CNBC:

A federal appeals court on Friday rejected President Donald Trump’s bid to block a House committee subpoena for his financial documents from his accounting firm.

The subpoena was issued earlier this year to Trump’s accountants at Mazars USA by the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.

Trump currently is asking the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan to block another subpoena, for his corporate and personal income tax returns, that was issued by a state grand jury in New York City.

It’s pretty much the end for that, but expect our Grifter-in-Chief to delay, delay, delay, and possibly take it to the SCOTUS, and as Gawd is my waitress, I got no idea what would happen there.

Is this resistance to the rules and law another Misdemeanor – in the impeachment sense? I can hope. And , if so, they’re stacking up like cordwood.

Yes, delay, delay, delay. Delaying the inevitable. I assume his argument is that you can’t subpoena the financial records of a King. Once he is removed, this argument will be null and void.

I can just picture him, on his back on the Oval Office floor, throwing a kicking-and-screaming rich kid temper tantrum, ‘cuz he isn’t getting his way!
