Building A Better Theocracy
Pastor Paula White claims that she was ordered by God to serve as an adviser to Trump: “To say ‘no’ to President Trump would be saying ‘no’ to God, and I won’t do that.” pic.twitter.com/7Z7uH4aneT

The Evangelical worshipping of Trump is unbelievably offensive in this 30-second interview. Those grifters really want their marks to see him as The Chosen One.
They’re not worshiping a golden calf, but a golden horse’s ass.

Yes, especially because he actually considers himself an evangelical whereas Trump doesn’t even try to pretend.

I really wonder how folks like Ralph “Render unto Caesar” Reed and all them are going to clean up themselves when Trump proves himself to be unredeemable and without the “mandate of heaven” but I also know they will try it and their faithful with keep on faithing. Even if it is dishonest as all hell.

I wish the Religious Right would contort themselves as much to defend the poor and abused as they do to defend a certified Sinner at Large. Trump’s broken most of the Ten Commandments and couldn’t quote Scripture if his life depended on it. He routinely mocks the needy and disabled, he lives to pursue fortune, and he does everything in his power to undo legislation that helps those who need it.
But hey, he’s the Chosen One, so they’ll carry him as long as they can. He’s gonna give them Roe V Wade on a platter with his new Supremes, and that’s what they crave the most. And getting rid of those Browns. They’ll overlook everything else he does.
